Looking for fun, engaging exercises for kids?
Some kids love exercising, others…not so much. If you are struggling to get your kids moving, you can exercise as a family with these fun and engaging activities!
Fun Exercises For Kids
1.Nature Hike
When the weather permits, a nature hike can present a grand and fun adventure. Do some research online to find trails or nature parks in your area. You can talk about the plants and trees, turning your walk into a science lesson too. Fresh air, exercise, and science!
2.Workout Video
You can find workout videos, for kids, on YouTube or check them out from your local library. This is great for those rainy days. Try all different ones to help your kids find one they really like and can stick with or mix it up often.

4.Simon Says
A good game of Simon Says can get the family moving. Take turns being Simon and be sure to choose challenging moves that will work those muscles and build flexibility.
5.Fit Ball
For this one, you blow up a beach and write exercises on it with a permanent marker. You can take turns tossing and catching the ball. Whoever catches it must perform one of the exercises before tossing it back. Get creative and make up your own rules.
6.Dance
Turn on some music and freestyle it or find a dance video. Get silly. Laughing burns calories too! If you create a routine, you are working your memory and coordination also!
